**Azure Data Architect:** For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Azure Data Architect for a long contract based in Warsaw, Poland Its paying well and my client can interview asap! **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and oversee scalable data models integrating multiple sources into Data Hubs - Define architecture patterns, templates, and best practices for data engineering - Establish data governance frameworks, access policies, and security standards - Ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and processing of large-scale datasets - Prepare project and architecture documentation aligned with internal procedures (One Essentials) - Design solutions for streaming and batch data ingestion, transformation, and model updates - Implement automated data validation, anomaly detection, and proactive issue resolution - Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and AI/ML teams to align solutions with business goals - Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation - Mentor engineers and promote architectural best practices **Essential Skills:** - Fluency in English - Strong expertise in Azure-based data platforms and Databricks - Deep hands-on experience with Databricks (primary tool), Delta Lake, and Apache Spark - Experience with dimensional, relational, and NoSQL data models - Strong background in data governance, lineage, and compliance - Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse, Azure SQL, and Event Hubs - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Kubernetes (AKS), and Docker - Ability to define data architecture strategy and mentor engineering teams - Strong capability to create and maintain clear, structured architectural documentation **Competencies (Technology Stack):** - Apache Spark - Databricks - Azure Data Factory - Docker - Kubernetes - Terraform If this is you, then please do not delay in applying!
