And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you. **So, what’s the role all about?** We are looking for a talented Automated Test Engineer to join our dynamic and growing Public Safety R&D engineering team in Pune. **How will you make an impact?** - Lead automation testing initiatives using .NET, Playwright, Selenium, and other industry-standard tools. - Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable automation frameworks that improve test efficiency and reliability. - Own and implement automation strategies across the team, aligning them with release and quality goals. - Drive in-depth DB testing and develop advanced SQL queries for data validation and backend integrity. - Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure test coverage aligns with functional, non-functional, and risk-based testing needs. - Perform risk assessments and drive test coverage planning based on ISTQB or equivalent guidelines. - Build and maintain representative test environments and test data pipelines for all types of tests. - Identify gaps in regression coverage, update impacted test cases, and optimize execution suites. - Take ownership of test execution, maintenance, and automation governance, including CI/CD pipeline integration. - Troubleshoot complex defects and proactively guide resolution efforts across dev/test stakeholders. **Have you got what it takes?** - Proven experience in leading and implementing advanced test automation solutions. - Strong command of C#, .NET, and automation practices including Web API testing, mocking, and UI automation. - Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, SpecFlow/Gherkin, and accessibility testing tools. - Expertise in front-end and cross-browser compatibility testing. - Strong knowledge of database testing and SQL. - Experience using Azure Boards, defect tracking, and version control (Git). - Familiar with deployment/configuration tools and installing software builds in test environments. - Deep understanding of automation design patterns, reusability principles, and test optimization techniques.Experience working with Agile/SCRUM/Agile SAFe software development methodology - Should have strong experience on .Net, and C#. - Should have familiarity with Accessibility Testing tools. - Should have strong experience on browser compatibility testing. - Familiarity with Postman, Build Pipelines (Team City or Azure Pipelines). - Familiarity with Docker containers. - Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end testing scenarios using Playwright. - Should have strong experience on Design Patterns to reduce the total runtime. - Should have familiarity with Accessibility Compliance and include that in Testing Framework. - Should have a detailed understanding on Test reusability. **You will have an advantage if you also have:** - ISTQB/ISEB qualifications - Practical experience of: - Azure - SQL Server and SQL administration - Elasticsearch/Kibana - JavaScript - GIT - Knowledge of Fiddler, Azure DevOps/TFS, Visual studio, JMeter - Experience in Security or Performance non-functional testing - Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant subject (Computer Science, Information Technology/Electronic Engineering) - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. **What’s in it for you?** - Join an ever-growing, market disrupting, global company where the teams – comprised of the best of the best – work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and creative environment!
