Our Toronto area client in the Finance space, is looking for a **Senior Blockchain Engineer** to support the development of foundational digital asset capabilities, including custody solutions, integrations with internal systems, and vendor technology enablement. This role requires strong blockchain expertise paired with modern full-stack engineering skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and build blockchain-based solutions covering custody, protocols, and digital asset workflows - Integrate blockchain services with internal enterprise systems and vendor platforms - Develop RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs - Build cloud-native, microservices-based applications - Participate in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) and contribute to full SDLC practices - Support infrastructure deployments using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) - Work with cross-functional business and technical stakeholders **Required Skills & Experience:** - Bachelor's degree required - 3+ years of professional engineering experience - Hands-on experience with modern full-stack JavaScript (Node.js, React, Express) - Strong understanding of Ethereum, Quorum, and/or Solidity - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration - API development experience (REST/GraphQL) - Experience deploying environments using Terraform/Ansible - Familiarity with enterprise systems (SaaS, ERP, SAP) - Strong communication skills - Willingness to travel within GTA as needed **Nice to Have:** - Experience with digital asset ecosystems (stablecoins, custody services, wallets, blockchain protocols)
