Job Description

***Description:*** Our client is a global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software provider, specializing in manufacturing and distribution industries. It offers a comprehensive suite of tools to manage business operations, including financial management, supply chain management, and manufacturing execution. ***Requirements:*** We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer who will be the technical driver responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the end-to-end multi-tenant SaaS platform infrastructure, focusing on high availability, security, and automation. **Cloud & Orchestration** - Deep expertise in Kubernetes and cloud container platforms, preferably Azure AKS. - Expert-level knowledge of IaC using Terraform or ARM. - Proficiency in containerization technologies, including Docker and Helm. **Automation & CI/CD** - Proven experience developing CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps pipelines. - Experience with on-premise scripting/automation using Ansible and Jenkins. - Strong foundation in general CI/CD principles and practices. **Platform & Operations** - Proficiency in the Linux operating system environment. - Strong working knowledge of Networking fundamentals (VPCs, firewalls, load balancing). **Observability & Security** - Familiarity with distributed monitoring systems, including Azure Insights and Datadog. - Experience with centralized logging and metrics solutions (Graphana, ELK stack). - Experience implementing enterprise security protocols, including Entra (Active Directory) integration and securing API calls. Effective analytical and problem-solving abilities for addressing intricate technical challenges. ***Job responsibilities:*** **Infrastructure Design & Architecture** : Lead the architectural design and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions for the new SaaS platform using Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM). **Container Orchestration** : Define and manage the containerization strategy, including deployment, scaling, and management of workloads using Docker, Kubernetes (Azure AKS preferred), and Helm charts. **CI/CD Pipeline Development** : Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps pipelines to facilitate automated testing, deployment, and rollback strategies. **Hybrid Deployment Automation** : Develop and maintain automation scripts for deploying the platform to on-premise, customer-managed environments utilizing tools such as Ansible and Jenkins. **Observability & Monitoring** : Implement and manage the centralized observability stack, including logging, metrics, and tracing. **Security & Networking** : Ensure secure networking architecture and integration with identity management systems, including securing API calls and implementing policies via Entra (Active Directory). **Operational Excellence** : Serve as a technical mentor for the team, establishing best practices for platform stability, security, and cost optimization within a Linux environment.
