We are seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Systems Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows systems administration, patch management, and scripting, with experience in virtualization and automation. While our current infrastructure is primarily on-prem, we are in the early stages of cloud migration, particularly around Office 365, with plans for further adoption of Azure services. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and maintain Windows-based server infrastructure. - Perform patch management and vulnerability remediation across systems. - Develop tools and automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell scripting. - Support VMware virtualization environment. - Assist in the migration of on-prem Exchange servers to Microsoft 365. - Provide light administration and recipient management for Microsoft Exchange (8 on-prem servers). - Support SCCM/MECM as needed during transition to Intune and PDQ for software/patch management. - Contribute to planning and execution of cloud initiatives, particularly within Microsoft Azure. - Collaborate with the team to implement best practices in system security, automation, and monitoring. **Must-haves:** - 7+ Years of professional experience with Windows systems administration and support. - Adept understanding of patch management and vulnerability remediation processes in SCCM. - Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation and tool development. - Experience with VMware virtualization technologies. **Nice-to-Haves:** - Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based infrastructure. - Knowledge of Cisco UCS. - Expertise using MECM, Microsoft Intune, and PDQ Deploy. - Basic Linux system administration skills. - Experience with M365 applications. (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive) - Experience with Microsoft Exchange (recipient management and light administration). - Professional experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Azure). - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
