**Introduction** The IBM Cloud Databases (ICD) team is responsible for developing and operating the Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings that provide Database as a Services (DBaaS) in IBM Cloud. The Infrastructure Specialist engineer must have a deep understanding of Kubernetes clusters, HA configurations, good knowledge of python or GoLang and general operations in a production environment. As a developer, you will join our follow-the-sun rotation where you will be the primary responder for automated system alerts. **Preferred Education** Master's Degree **Required Technical And Professional Expertise** - Will be working India hours (9AM IST -5 PM IST) - Experience operating a cloud-based service and CICD environment. - Experience operating production Kubernetes clusters. - Understanding and updating Helm charts. - Understanding container lifecycle. - Troubleshooting failures in the control plane or container. - Experience in Python or GoLang **Preferred Technical And Professional Experience** - Experience with Containerisation and Docker - Experience with Jenkins and Github - In depth knowledge of at least one Cloud Provider IaaS ecosystem (VPC, Storage, IAM)
