**Introduction** IBM Consulting - Client Innovation Center is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team supporting a major insurance client. You will operate within a complex multi‑vendor environment, working closely with client stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of hybrid cloud initiatives. This is a strategic role within the governance team, with the opportunity to grow responsibility and influence within the program. **Your Role And Responsibilities** You will be responsible for leading and coordinating projects in a hybrid cloud application environment. You will manage project scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, budgets and resources across IBM, client teams and external partners. A solid understanding of technical and functional aspects is essential, as you will need to interpret requirements, discuss solution approaches and ensure alignment between delivery teams and business goals. Weekly on‑site presence at the client in Milan is required. **Key Responsibilities Include** - Managing complex projects within the insurance domain - Leading planning, execution, monitoring and reporting activities - Owning project plans, financials and staffing coordination - Managing risks, issues and cross‑team dependencies - Supporting governance processes and ensuring contractual compliance - Interacting with technical teams and discussing topics related to cloud, applications and integration (AWS, Kubernetes, Java ecosystem) - Collaborating with client stakeholders and third‑party vendors in a distributed environment **Preferred Education** Master's Degree **Required Technical And Professional Expertise** - Proven experience in project management of complex initiatives - Mandatory experience within the insurance industry - Ability to understand functional and technical requirements and interact with engineering teams - Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder‑management skills - Fluency in Italian - Good command of English (B1/B2) **Preferred Technical And Professional Experience** - Experience in Life Insurance (area Vita) - Experience with hybrid cloud or cloud‑based application projects - Familiarity with technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Java - Previous experience working in large enterprise or multi‑vendor programs
