Apply via Dice today! **Job Title : Developer Services Lead API &Microservices** **Location : Reading, PA (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite per week)** **Experience : 10 12 years** **Employment Type : Contract** **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Developer Services Lead to drive an enterprise-wide API and microservices strategy across the organization. This role will focus on designing, developing, governing, and evangelizing APIs and microservices in a large-scale enterprise environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead enterprise-wide API and microservices initiatives - Design, develop, and govern RESTful APIs - Collaborate with multiple development teams - Own API lifecycle management and governance - Provide microservices architecture guidance - Conduct training, workshops, and developer advocacy - Publish documentation, standards, and technical bulletins - Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines - Support Kubernetes-based microservices deployments **Required Skills &Qualifications** - 10 12 years of enterprise software development experience - Strong microservices and REST API design expertise - Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python - Experience with API gateways - Strong communication and leadership skills **Preferred Skills** - Google Apigee experience - Other API management platforms (Kong, MuleSoft, AWS, Azure) - Kubernetes and DevOps pipeline experience **What Success Looks Like** - Scalable and reusable enterprise APIs - Organization-wide API standards adoption - Improved developer productivity - Secure, reliable microservices architecture
