TCS' proactive stance on climate change and award-winning work with communities across the world have earned it a place in leading sustainability indices such as the MSCI Global Sustainability Index and the FTSE4Good Emerging Index. **Required Skill Sets:** • Architecture Delivery Design and implement robust REST Graph QL services using Java (Java 17) and Spring Boot (or Micronaut Quarkus). • Develop responsive front-end applications using React Angular Vue with TypeScript. • Own end to end features across backend APIs, databases, frontend UI, and integrations. • Define API contracts, service boundaries, and documentation (Open API Swagger). • Ensure high performance, scalability, and observability (profiling, tracing, metrics).Cloud, DevOps Reliability Build CICD pipelines (GitHub Actions Jenkins GitLab CI) with automated tests and deployments. • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Cloud Formation CDK) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes EKSAKSGKE). • Set up monitoring alerting (Prometheus Grafana, Open Telemetry, Cloud Watch New Relic Datadog) and drive incident response root cause analysis. • Apply caching, rate limiting, and resilience patterns (circuit breaker, retries backoff, bulkheads). • Security Compliance Enforce secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10), API auth (OAuth2OIDC), and secrets management. • Implement data protection (TLS, KMS, encryption at restin transit). • Support audits and compliance standards (SOC2ISOPCI as applicable). • Quality Technical Leadership Establish coding standards, testing strategy (unitintegratione2e), and code reviews. • Mentor developers lead design reviews and technical roadmap initiatives. • Work cross functionally with Product, QA, SRE, and Data teams to ship outcomes, not just features. • Required Qualifications Good years of professional software development, with good years building backend services in Java (Spring Boot strongly preferred). • Strong front-end experience with React (preferred) or Angular Vue, including state management (Redux NgRx Pinia) and component testing. • Proficiency in JavaScript TypeScript, modern build tooling (Webpack Vite, npmyarnpnpm). • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL MySQL Oracle, MongoDB Cassandra) strong SQL and query tuning. • CICD, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) experience. • Solid testing practice Junit Testing Mockito for backend Jest React Testing Library Cypress Playwright for frontend. • Strong grasp of distributed systems and integration patterns (event driven architecture, messaging, idempotency). • Security fundamentals and practical application (OWASP, OAuth2OIDC, JWT). Excellent problem solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration. • Nice-to-Have Event streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ), asynchronous processing, and saga outbox patterns. • Cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and managed services (RDS Dynamo DB OpenSearch, API Gateway). • Performance and scalability workload testing (JMeterk6), JVM tuning (GC, thread pools), frontend performance (Light house Web Vitals). • Experience with micro frontends, design systems, and accessibility (WCAG). • Fintech payments or regulated environments data privacy and compliance familiarity. • Additional languages (KotlinGoPy) Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per Year **Note:** TCS does not use artificial intelligence tools for candidate screening or evaluation.
