With continuous learning, career growth, and a supportive culture, IBM provides the opportunities to build expertise and shape the infrastructure that drives progress. **Your Role And Responsibilities** - Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Golang (preferred) and Python. - Take complete ownership of features from requirement analysis to design, implementation, and test execution. - Build robust, efficient, and maintainable software components for cloud-native environments. - Deploy and manage solutions on OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms. - Collaborate with teams to design and implement network-aligned features and services. - Troubleshoot and optimize networking components in distributed systems. - Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of applications. - Develop comprehensive test cases to validate functionality and edge scenarios. - Document designs, workflows, and operational procedures clearly and concisely. **Required Technical And Professional Expertise** - 10–15 years of professional experience in software development. - Strong programming expertise in Golang (preferred) and Python. - Good understanding of data structures and algorithms for efficient code development. - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and containerized environments. - Good understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, etc.). - Comfortable working with Linux and version control systems (Git). - Ability to own and deliver features end-to-end, including design, coding, testing, and deployment. - Strong system design and architectural skills for building scalable solutions. - Attention to code quality, performance optimization, and maintainability. - Ability to design and curate comprehensive test cases and plans to ensure robust coverage and quality of developed features. - Experience working on network-aligned areas such as SDN, NFV, or network automation. **Preferred Technical And Professional Experience** - Experience working with networking concepts and technologies such as switching, routing, and related protocols. - Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana). - Experience with APIs (REST, gRPC) and structured data formats (JSON, YAML).
