**Role - Redhat OpenShift Cluster Administrator** **Years of Experience -** 7 to 10 years **Location -** Pune & Chennai - Kubernetes, Docker, Container Registry, Container security. - Installation, upgradation, configuration setup of Red Hat Openshift - Troubleshoot issues with worker nodes, maintenance, and scale-out tasks. - LDAP sync configuration, adding and removing users and assigning roles to groups/users. - Create, Modify & delete of projects. Assign project specific roles to users/groups - Assist application team on resolving issues with pods like crash loopback, image pull back and other errors - Create, Modify and delete network policy rules based on customer requirement. - Service accounts management, role creation and assigning roles - Assign, modify and remove roles (cluster and project) to users and groups - Monitor registry storage and perform regular clean-up. Assist application team in pushing required images to OpenShift cluster. - Create, Modify SCC based on custom requirement and assign to specific projects. - Configure, modify project quotas and limit ranges. Assist application team on issues with quotas and limits. - Perform certificate management when the existing certificates are expired and when needed. - Check cluster utilization and share reports to business when needed. Forecast capacity growth requirement and handle capacity increase. - Perform Daily health check of cluster and fix issues based on observations - Planning and platform patching and upgrade with Zero downtime - Customize master and node configurations post deployment of OpenShift to meet requirements. - Implement AD/LDAP sync for each environment and also implement automated sync of the groups. - Post OpenShift deployment, configure OpenShift platform to use custom SSL certificates provided by customer for console and application URL. - Monitoring performance of the System - Troubleshoot the issue and quick resolution - Should be able to handle first point escalation for all technical and process issues - Provide technical subject matter expertise wherever required - Plan and schedule Changes, Coordinating with different stakeholders - Perform RCA for Major Incidents - Installation and configuration of RHACS, RHACM, Redhat GitOps, Redhat Logging, LokiStack/ELK/EFK. - Integrating Redhat Quay with OCP cluster. - Backup and recovery of OCP cluster resources/namespaces using tools like Netbackup/Velero/CommVault - **Responsibility** - Represent Technical expertise in OpenShift Administration and Configuration. - Handle Incident / Release / Change / Problem Management as per customer requirement - Participate in new deployements, installations, upgrades and any other related requirement with customer - Flexible to work in 24x7 rotational support, shift management, liase with customer and different teams(developers,UNIX admins,Network admins etc) for technical discussions. - Drive automation, transformations, configure monitoring , team collaboration, application capacity planning, DR management related support and activities
