**Introduction** - 8+ years experience in Mainframe z/OS system programming. - Experience with z/OS operating system and its components such as JES2, TSO/E, z/OS UNIX, SDSF, and Communications Server. - Deep knowledge of Parallel SYSPLEX. - Technical expertise in key z/OS subsystems and middleware (Db2, CICS, MQ, IMS). It includes hands-on experience with the installation, configuration, and day-to-day support. - Led multiple complex IBM and ISV product upgrades and related projects. - Expertise in system management tools like SMP/E (System Modification Program Extended) and z/OSMF. - Experience with data security implementation and administration using RACF. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Evaluate and recommend changes to current and future system software requirements to meet the organization's needs. - Learn quickly and independently, and motivated to research new information. **Your Role And Responsibilities** As a Mainframe z/OS System Programmer, you'll have the opportunity to shape the very foundation of the technology that drives our world. You'll be a master troubleshooter and problem-solver, with the skills to fix even the most complex issues that arise. **Preferred Education** Bachelor's Degree **Required Technical And Professional Expertise** - Monitoring system performance using RMF, SMF, TMON or Omegamon tools, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimization strategies. - Knowledge of IBM Netview and System Automation. - Knowledge of Kubernetes, Cloud, API Development, DevOps/MLOps Tools and AI/ML. - Knowledge of analytics platforms such as Opensearch. - Knowledge of mainframe hardware configurations and I/O management. - Assessing system capacity needs and planning for future growth.
