**About The Role**
We are seeking a Senior Manager, DevOps Engineer, People Leader to join our dynamic technology team. In this pivotal role, you will lead a diverse portfolio of technology projects and manage a talented team of engineers specializing in cloud-native applications, microservices, and automation. **Qualifications**
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Candidates should have a minimum of six years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering, with at least four years of experience working with cloud-native technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Extensive experience in Unix or Linux system administration is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with at least four years of managing engineering teams are required. Additional qualifications include proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Ruby, or Go, along with experience using container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible, as well as monitoring tools like Splunk or Zabbix, is highly preferred. Candidates with a strong understanding of Agile development practices and experience designing and implementing scalable infrastructure will be considered highly competitive.
**Responsibilities**
- Lead and oversee a portfolio of technology projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices in DevOps and cloud engineering.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment that promotes continuous learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate with digital product managers, software developers, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based solutions that improve customer experiences and drive business value.
- Stay current with emerging technology trends, experimenting with new tools and techniques to enhance operational efficiency and product reliability.
- Implement and maintain automation pipelines, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure as code to enable rapid deployment and reliable system updates.
- Utilize programming skills to evaluate and improve code quality, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices, including monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing processes, implementing new methodologies, and encouraging team innovation.
